We all love to save money, right? Well, if you want to save money, I have found that you’re going to have to treat it like a little side job. While it doesn’t take that much time up, you’re going to be glad in the end, when you have found that you have save 30%+ on your grocery bill.

The reason that you’re going to want to manage your time with coupons is solely based on the fact that time is money, and many people tend to forget about this. So many people bring up tips that simply waste time, and don’t make sense in the long run. When you set aside all of the silliness, you should be able to find that your time is going to be well spent.

I wanted to give you five tips that you can do to manage your time with coupons. I see so many people waste their time with coupons and you shouldn’t become one of them!

#1 Don’t clip your coupons – The first thing that I would recommend is that you don’t clip your coupons. If you get the Sunday paper, you’re more than likely going to save your coupons, if you’re a savings buff. Clipping your coupons not only makes everything messy, you’re going to waste at least an hour doing it.

#2 Use free services online – This brings me to my next point on why you shouldn’t clip your coupons. Sites such as AFullCup and CouponMom both help you with your organization. What you will do here is print out a grocery list and they will tell you exactly what publication to go to when it comes to your coupons. For example, they will tell you to go to the Smart Source on June 20, 2010. Mark your coupon books with the date and set them aside.

#3 Use Google recent search – Let’s say that you want to purchase something online and you want to find a coupon code. The first mistake that many people do is search with the actual search engine. This is just going to yield some stale results. Instead, you will want to look at the Google options on the left side. Here, you can sort out the most recent results to find a coupon that will be fresh and should be guaranteed to work.

#4 Set up alerts – Another trick that you can use with Google is by setting up alerts (google.com/alerts). If you’re not in a hurry to purchase something, but you want to wait for either a deal or coupon, you can have Google alert you every time someone posts about that specific deal, or even a coupon.

#5 Bookmark your favorites – As you find coupon codes online, you’re going to find sites that you tend to like a lot. Instead of forgetting about them, bookmark them. That way, you can go straight to the source, without having to waste your time with searching for a coupon code.

Managing your time with coupons really isn’t that hard and you will find that by following these five tips, you should be able to speed up the process when it comes down to saving. It will still take you some time, but like I said before, it will pay off in the long haul!
