3 Reasons Why You Will Get Rich Slowly In This Niche

Get Rich Slowly

Just to clear things a bit right from the start, by this niche I mean the blogging, making money online, Internet marketing niche(s). Yes, assuming you will put in the same amount of work, this niche will earn you less that pretty much any other niche out there that is not addressing an Internet guru audience.

Here is why.

The competition

Getting traffic in this niche is much harder than it is in other niches. I tested this a while back and the results were astonishing. At least for me they were. I knew that the blogging niche was very competitive, because everybody in it is good at blogging, promoting, SEO and so on; but I did not know it was that competitive to successfully run a blogging blog or an internet marketing blog.

14 Tips To Sell More Effectively in Less Time

If you are a small business/home based business owner, you need to sell your product or service to interested parties. Do not think that, being the owner, you need not get involved in sales as you have a marketing and sales team for that. Nothing can be far from the truth.

Being a sales person, who do you work for? There are two types of people in the sales profession. Some people are on regular payroll while others are commission based (Affiliates). Those who are on a regular payroll tend to sell less as compared to those who are on commission.

The reason is obvious. One person puts more effort in selling while the other can be a bit relaxed since whether or not he makes a sale, he will be paid for the month.

So this post will be for … [Read more...]

Proper keyword research, they say, is the key to building

a successful blog. Yes, it is 100% true, and in my case I also believe that it is the fastest route that one can use - given that you know the ropes well.

So many bloggers put tons of hours, days and even weeks into the keyword research stage of building their blogs, and further go on to work hard at posting articles and promoting their new blogs built around their golden keyword. What if I told you that in 80% of the time you are bound to fail (beautifully, as a matter of fact) at taking your new super blog anywhere? Would it come as a surprise to you if your best days of blog traffic are the days you are able to pull in 5 visits; that is some four months long after publishing your blog live? Perhaps, a lot of you out there would have a strong connection with me on this one as you have had personal experiences like … [Read more...]

By the way, this list refers to manual link building only that you, as the blog owner, can approach. User generated backlinks are a whole different story that is not covered in this post.

If done effectively, guest posting is a great way of link building and authority for your blog. I got huge jumps in the SERPs after posting articles on relevant websites and pointing a link or two towards my website.

Most of the blog owners (especially the established ones like Darren Rowse or Daniel Scocco) that accept guest posts have strict guidelines allowing only one or two backlinks at the end of the guest post in the author box. These still are very good links as long as they are do follow and the blog you are posting on has authority. If you manage to have your link accepted … [Read more...]

So I constrained myself on not tweeting often, yet wasn’t very happy I couldn't share my great findings with my followers.
