How about a pro guide to your fresh path?

Blogging is both fun and business. It is gaining momentum these days because of so many successful bloggers around who are so open about making money online with blogging. There are several examples; one of the biggies to point out is Darren Rowse! He is blogging for years now, and earns six figure full time income with his blog.

Surely, successful bloggers like Darren are true motivators for everyone to start with a blog. And I am sure that has happened, as with what the statistics say :) There are thousands of blogs started everyday.

With blogs, a proper start is highly essential for long term success. Here is where you need a guide. And, here is where experienced and successful bloggers like Darren come to the rescue.

Darren has successfully launched a couple of ebooks and a book too- 31 Days to Build a Better blog (popularly denoted as 31DBBB), Copywriting Scorecard for Bloggers and Secrets for Blogging your way to Six Figure Income!

Now, for the benefit of all newbies and those who want to start their additional blog Darren has recently released a great piece of information packed resource - Problogger’s guide to your First Week of Blogging.

Since it is Darren’s product I wouldn’t want to write pages together to let you understand its value. You know it already! However here are some points that will help you to spot what’s there in that book.

If you are planning to start a first blog or just an additional blog, you need this book. This book will guide you through the important aspects that you really NEED to take care of, while your blog is new.

Even though the book is named “Guide to your First Week of Blogging” I am sure that even if you are in your first couple of months and still a newbie, you have to get this book.

The book will make you understand that launching a blog is not trivial as you think - say buy a domain name, get hosting, and then do some posts, that’s all. Nope it is not.

This book will guide you systematically through all the procedures you will need to go through to take your new blog to the next level, swiftly! Planning at your initial stages is highly vital since that will impact your blog’s success in the future.

Actually, as the name promises, the book will give you tasks/exercises for 7 days that will ensure a successful launch and after-launch. But that is not all! You will develop the necessary skills over those 7 days that will equip yourself as a successful blogger for the rest of your blogging career.

Here is an inside of what the book carries-

Day 1: Set solid foundations.
Day 2: Publish and build presence.
Day 3: Concentrate on content.
Day 4: Understand the blog as a product.
Day 5: Put yourself out there.
Day 6: Define and demonstrate quality.
Day 7: Strategize for success.

If you ask my advice, I will strongly suggest you to go for the book.

You know what, the book has been launched at a CRAZY prize - just $9.99 can you believe it? But wait it is just the launch price valid until 17th May 2011. After that the book will be available in its original price - $19.98. If I am you, I won’t think now!

There is one more reason for you to act before 17th May - You will automatically be included in the chance to win one of 2 Pro Plus packages from the team at Studiopress. You’ll get access to 37 themes PLUS any other themes that will be released by Studiopress (worth over $850). Now isn’t that a great offer?

    Hi Jane,

I follow Darren’s Problogger blog and I know that he has a photography blog as well. I would have loved to of read his book when I first started my blog. I am sure that there is still vital information in there that I could use.

      Hey Justin,

That is what I thought when I read the book. When I started reading it, I read it as a third party assuming that I am not going to get anything useful out of it because I am not launching a new blog, neither am I in my first week.

But Darren got me for sure. The book is value packed even for established bloggers.

      Cheers,
      Jane.

When I started, I still remember that one of the first blogs I have ever visited and read almost in its entirety was that of Daren’s. I respect the man and learned great heaps from him just by reading his blog. How I wish this ebook was available back then. I would have gained a lot of time trying to figure out the first steps. For the new comers it would certainly be of great value, no doubt.

    • Jane Sheeba says

      Hey Ditesco,

Thanks for adding your thoughts. I am sure that every successful blogger would have had sweet encounters with Darren’s products :)

      Cheers,
      Jane.

Darren has done such an amazing job online marketing with problogger. Good to see he’s got another book out. I know he’s been doing a lot on his photography blogs as well. I was considering his e-book but have decided against it as it seems more for the noob of blogging as does everything he does.
