Triberr - The Social Reach Multiplier.
Many of you have heard of it; and some of you have seen it on the web. It has become the buzzword today. Most of you guys would be a part of some tribe or even may be a chief.
However there may be quite some newbie tribesmen/women and even some who are alien to this whole Triberr thing. I am sharing my thoughts and ideas about Triberr for those people so that it may help them to get to know about it better.
Triberr is a syndication network started with a motto of “You tweet mine, I tweet yours”. This was started by Dino Dogan and Dan Cristo with a goal to achieve social reach and SEO benefits hands off - in an automatic set up.
It’s all easy, whenever anyone in your tribe updates their blog with new a post, you have to tweet it to all of your followers and the rest of the tribesmen do the same for your post. Isn’t it helpful? And there is more; all these are free of cost, automatic and takes just 5 minutes to set up.
Primarily you need an invite to join Triberr; unlike facebook or Twitter here the sign up is not possible without invite from a tribesman/woman.
For acquiring this invite you have two options; you can ask some of your acquaintance or friend who already owns some tribe to send you an invite. Alternatively you can search some tribes that may suit your interest and then request the chieftan to send you an invite.
However you may not be easily accepted in most of the tribes, since they have certain goals, motto etc.. They add people with common thoughts or with common skills. Therefore you must be careful in choosing the tribe that suits you.
This Triberr thing is all about loyalty and trust, hence the tribesman consider one another as a family and share their posts so that the fellow tribe men tweet them.
Tweeting others post can be automatic or manual; If it is automatic, whenever a person in your tribe updates his/her blog with new post, then the post is automatically tweeted from your twitter account; in the manual method you must select the posts that are ought to be tweeted.
When you have joined a tribe, you can build about 3 tribes of your own.
Each tribe will have a chieftan who creates the tribe and seven other members initially. Either you join a tribe or own a tribe you will be benefited only when you have a huge number of fellow tweeters following you.
While Triberr just sounds like a chestnut at first, it has a lot of advantages such as-
Triberr is free
Many other similar networking sites charge a price for this, however Triberr doesn’t. Doesn’t that sound like a jackpot? Advertising your posts free of cost (and getting loads of blog traffic) is sure a temptation to anyone.
No Pain, No Strain but Lots of Gain
No more creating posters, no more requesting to share, no more advertising charges; just join a relevant tribe in Triberr and people in the tribe will automatically share your post to their Twitter followers.
Stand in the Spotlight
What more do you need? When you are an expert blogger with excellent skills but very little exposure then Triberr is all set to publicize you and your skills throughout the Twitter world.
Social Networking via Triberr
When you are in Triberr, it’s not only about tweeting and sharing but also about making friends; making friends that too the ones with same interests - isn’t that a great deal?
Increasing traffic to your blogs (creating backlinks)
By sharing your post among numerous tweeters, the number of visitors to your blog or page gets increased (if you are using Google Analytics, you can easily track the traffic that comes from a particular social media site); thereby the popularity of the blog is also increased.
Not to mention, you get backlinks (never mind, they are no-follow, though) to your blog from social media sites like Twitter. But do note that as of late, search engine visibility heavily relies on social reach!
Being a blogger and not being on Triberr is like been to Paris and not visiting Eiffel tower. If you aren’t a member in any tribe until now, then you are missing a lot of publicity which is rightfully yours in the blogosphere. “Join the Tribe, Build it, and Spread your Word”.

That is a great line
I’ve placed it on Triberr’s homepage as one of the testimonials because it’s so poignant. Thank you.
And thank you for being so kind to us and writing about the service…you rock, Jane
Dino,
Thanks for placing that line in Triberr’s home page. I simply wrote what I felt about Triberr. I couldn’t thank you more for providing us (all bloggers) with such a smarty thing.
Cheers,
Jane.
This service is pretty new to me and it looksvery promising. More and more automated services for social media are coming out nowadays with one goal. To let bloggers work smartly rather than working hard providing them with more time to focus more on content writing and socializing.
Thank you for this smart find Jane. I will surely give this a try.
Agree with you…..
Great metaphor by you Jane……
I also got introduced there by a friend of mine……….
I’ve never used Triberr before, but if it works automatically without our control, it will look like a private spamming network. In addition, I don’t think the backlink from Twitter will exist for a long time
Hi Jenni,
Things are not without our control. As I have said in the post you can choose to set the tweeting mode to be automatic or manual. Besides if you are careful about who you let in your tribe, you need not worry about choosing automatic.
And, I don’t understand “I don’t think the backlink from Twitter will exist for a long time” - the links will always be there. Although, no-follow backlinks from social sites like Twitter, Facebook etc. count a lot for your SEO.
Cheers,
Jane.
Ah, ok, it’s great Jane
it’s my misunderstand.
Thank you
Great introduction of Triberr Jane. I do know the concept behind it and I am a “tribesman” myself. The only thing that gets me “knocked” off is that for some reason I just don’t get it. I don’t know how to invite people to my tribe, I don’t know how I can accept invites to a tribe… Don’t even know what those “bones” are for. I must be going loony, and perhaps, I will give it another shot sometime this week to see if I figure it out. Everyone tells me that it is very simple
Well as everyone says, it is quite easy to use Triberr. When you login to Triberr and click a particular tribe you will have the option to invite (if the max number is not already filled); the invite can be sent via email or a Twitter DM.
If you are already a chief you cannot join other tribes as a non-chief, as far as I understand. So you will have to expand your own tribe(s).
Oh and the bones… you use them to expand your tribe… you can increase the number of slots (if it is filled and you think you want more people on the same tribe)… I think it is 3 bones for 1 slot … not sure :). You can also manually add tweets to be shared by your tribe; that costs 3 bones
I like the feel of triberr…….
I goes perfectly with the theme……..
Yes…if you are a chief you cant join as non chief somewhere else………
This is great! So I can get more traffic to my darling blog with the use of triberr when the service is even free of charge…wow!
Thanks for this, I have just sent you an email, please add me to your tribe..
Triberr is great for traffic. Glad to have you in my tribe. Don’t forget to monitor the stats for every tweet. It shows who’s share got you clicks (with the numbers). That’s cool.
Thankx Jane for the advice………..
Will keep that in mind………..
Hey Jane, Yes Triberr is an excellent perk for all of us bloggers. I am part of a tribe, but admittedly, really not using Triberr as I should. I have not started my own tribe yet, which seems a bit daft really doesn’t it?
I think it is an excellent way for all of us to share the work of those we trust.
Talk soon
Jayne
That is the wonderful thing about Triberr. You actually don’t need to use it
it’s automatic (you initially are careful about whom you join and whom you allow into your Tribe). You should start your own tribe really!
Yeah agree with you………
If you start a new tribe, don’t forget to send me a request as well……..;)……..
Hi Jane,
I admit that I’ve heard about Triberr but never investigated it as a potential way to get my posts shared and build relationships. This is a great review and I appreciate the time you took to write it.
It seems like a win-win for all involved. I need to be careful because my time is so limited. I always need to be sure that there is a huge “ROI” or “Return on Time” if you will…. I think it’s time I gave Triberr some serious consideration.
Thanks again, Jane.
Agree with you…..
Triberr is giving us benefits which are for free……..
Such benefits can usually cost a lot of money but in Triberr its relatively free & I lve it………
Hi Jane! I have to confess that I am like Jayne in that I haven’t invited anyone yet. I do need to do it, I know, but have been putting it off. I know it’s a great service, though, and does extend your reach. Like you, I recommend it to those who haven’t tried it yet.
Jeanine, glad that you like Triberr. The more you invite the more reaches you can achieve! Of course scrutinize before inviting to keep your tribe clean and targeted.
Thats interesting……..
Do send me an invite when you start recruiting tribesmen & women………….
Hi Jane, I had heard about Triberr but have not looked into it yet - will do soon thanks to your informing post. I have only just set up my twitter account today would you believe so one step at a time!
Ha Rachael, since you are setting up your Twitter account just now, you need to build your followers and your social media presence. Tribe chiefs usually would prefer to add twitters with more followers. You will get there in a short time I hope
Agree with you………
The chiefs are really mean sometimes……….
Some don’t accept invitation if we dont have more than 200 followers and some even more………………
It is interesting feature of Triber to make tribe of only those people who have common interests.I can say the person with the same niche have a tribe.
Yeah….thats true……….
Its more like a tribe…as in a family……….
You even have a chief who is the head of the tribe…..
I wonder if there should be some tribe hula dance as well……….
Jane,
I have often wondered about this, just never done it.
I would love to join you in this.
Could you please send me an invite, too?
Great and informative post, by the way!!!
Martin Dale
Thanks for this Triberr post Jane,
I use the service and I know that I automatically Tweet other people’s stuff but I haven’t really got a hang of it. Thanks for reminding me.
Hi Jane,
I use triberr and have been for a few months now. Although, I am definitely not using it to it’s full potential. I have 3 tribes of my own, but haven’t invited anyone into them yet. Thanks for the reminder, I am going to triberr now to do some inviting.
Thanks for sharing Jane and have a great day!
Three tribes already…..
Send me an invite to those as well if you feel like it…………;)
That’s awesome… I actually just signed up for a tribe about 5 min. before I saw your post, and then had to read it when I did see it. Thanks for sharing the light on how this works.
Its really good as far as I can tell……….
I also use this service and trust me if you are a part of a good tribe then your traffic will get a boost easily and effortlessly…………..
Brilliant idea. I’m going to try triber myself.
Interesting - I had never heard of Triberr before but it seems like a pretty beneficial site! I will definitely be asking around to see if anyone I know has hopped aboard this train yet, and maybe look into a ticket for myself…
Laurie
greaat idea…..
btw….this pic of urs of a penguin is real cute…..
Loved it…….
All the best for hopping on the triberr train…………
This seems like a great idea as long as it remains small and private. If this were to be largely scaled, it would require various entities to take notice of it and squelch it out.
True….fully agreed……….
I guess if everybody knew about it then the dear penguin will go after its life as well……..
People need to be careful and they should not tend to overdo it…………….
I did not know much about triberr and Jeevan invited me to join a tribe. The effect is really awesome when retweets are considered, but because it was a new tribe and we are only 4 or 5 members, I wonder what will be the aid if there were lot more members. I don’t know if I can join multiple tribes. If it is possible I’d certainly love to join your tribe. Could you please send me an invitation?
You can join as many tribes as you want…..
But you should have a good twitter following…..
moreover…..you have to send invites to the chiefs so as to be accepted in the tribe………
Triberr is definitely a great way to bring traffic to your blog and it enhances your Twitter reputation as well.
Totally agree with you……..
But for that you need to find like minded tribes and also should be accepted into them…………..
Informative post Jane!
I must confess I never knew all the details about Triberr before reading your detailed post about it. Yes, I did know what it was in general- though never knew all the details and more-so never knew you needed an invitation for it also! Does sound interesting!
Thanks for sharing

Agree with yo mam…..
Its a good way to increase traffic for free and we dont have to spend a penny even………
Abrar tariq says
OmG, thank god i didn’t bought re tweets package :p i was even searching on google for tribe, but couldn’t find their website, have they hide their website from search engines? :S n btw waiting for your invite
and yeah nyc blog
It is coming on google………..
But the main problem is that of getting invites from the right person…..
if that happens then we can easily generate traffic in a good manner………..
I have heard of this but haven’t really known how this actually works and its advantages. This is surely another social media site that would be very useful to all bloggers and will even help make good relationships with other fellow bloggers.
Concept is simple…..
all you have to do is get invited to triberr………
if that happens then you can easily enjoy the benefits…..
but for people to accept you into their tribe you need to have a twitter account with good number of followers………………
Great review … and so glad you got me rethinking Triberr.
PS - What a great line.
“Being a blogger and not being on Triberr is like going to Paris and not visiting the Eiffel tower.”
True……….
That line is simply the highlight of the entire post & I simply loved it………..
Hi Jane,
This is like an online game where you join a particular tribe. This looks fun and interesting. I will try this and recommend to all the people who share the same interest with me. Is it possible we will be the one creating our own tribe?
Yes you can easily create your ow tribe but be careful as to who you invite……
Also i guess the limit is of 3 tribes of your own……..
Sounds cool, I wouldn’t mind checking it out. I didn’t join it only because I only retweet posts that I can completely relate to 100%. I wasn’t aware of the manual function.
Yeah true……..
But yes the manual function gets tedious and automatic is better if you know who are going to repost for you……….
gm shovo says
Honestly, I have never heard about it. Thanks for writing such informative post.
Its a real cool site…..
it has got the tribal feel and even had bones which helps to increase the number of members in the tribe………
I’m few of those people who uses Triberr and it was first launched. At its early stage, Triberr allows you to autoretweet. This is I believe a great feature to encourage someone to join Triberr. Unfortunately, about two years or so ago, they disable the autoretweet feature since it violates the Twitter policy. Since then, I used it few times and now I never want to use it again.
Well it actually depends on the members of your Tribe. Someone it’s frustrating when you keep approving your members’ new articles to be retweet, and only 1 or 2 of them do the same thing it return. If you want to use it, make sure all your members constantly check their Triberr account. Everyone will be happy then.
Thankx for the advice……
Why did you stop using it by the way???
Because some of the people take granted of the new system, only few of us keep approving their latest articles to be retweeted, but they do not do it back in return. Since it’s no longer a win-win situation, I think better I stop using it.
Yeah….thats true…..
Not everything is a win-win situation all the time…..
I look forward to being invited into a tribe, however I dont think I would want to retweet content that I could not support, because it would damage my reputation online. Just a thought. Cheers John
its true…..
but that is why people only join like minded tribes and not anything else………….
Hi Jane,
I’m not sure about the automatic thing especially in social platform. But, there’s nothing to lose to check it out for more info. I’m new to this stuff. Thanks for reviewing it
Automatic retweets do work……
But yes you have to join the tribe with care in order to avoid tweeting useless updates which have nothing to do with your blog…
I know about tribe but never try to understand it you have write nice review on it and its like we have to find our family on internet with this. Thank you jane for this review.
Nice review jane…..
You always keep on bringing out something new everytime……
Keep up the work………….
