Facebook Fan Page Customization: How To Add A Twitter Tab

Facebook continues to be the social media marketing platform, I mean, the BIG platform. Everyone hangs out there on business (and also for fun).

You can see people and companies, hanging out there at Facebook to create a change :).

Hence marketing anything with Facebook can go viral easily, if done properly.

In this post I will show you how to add a Twitter tab to a Facebook fan page. Here are a couple of screenshots of the tab in the Problogging Success Facebook page.

Twitter tab on Facebook fan page

This tab shows the latest tweets from your Twitter stream (you have to give the Twitter username), a link to your Twitter profile with an option for people to follow you.

This is therefore is a nice addition to your Facebook fan page; it combines your Twitter marketing tweets with your Facebook fan page and it also allows an easy option to help you increase Twitter followers.

There is also an option to publish the tweets to the wall when we hover over any of the tweets on this Twitter tab.

Here’s a 10 minute video that shows you how to add this Twitter tab to your Facebook fan page and make the most out of your Facebook tabs and Twitter tweets.

I am definitely going to have to have my hubby try this out. He created a fan page for a local forum specific for our town. By the by, Jane, I dropped by your site because I read about you from Bob and rosemary’s blog. I just wanted to let you know that you are quite amazing. I am a single mother of two and I work fulltime as well as parttime. And struggling. But if you can do it, I said to myself, so can I. Thanks for that wonderful interview! :)

Twitter is just as important as Facebook and these two combined is just pure magic. I have Twitter feed and Facebook feed on my webpage and they are serving me fine. Twitter tab for Facebook is a brilliant idea and can definitely get you a nice amount of extra followers on your Twitter. I am definitely
    going to try this out.

    Hi!
I’d like to have all my tweets directly posted in my twitter tab. Untill now I haven’t found a way to create this properly. Can you tell me how I can do that?

There’s no denying the having a Facebook page, whether it be a personal, business, or fan page, is the way to go in order for any business to have an impact. Not only in the marketing point of view, which of course covers both popularity and relevance but also in terms of getting your business attuned to the needs of your market base. I can’t thank you enough for such a veritable step-by-step video to get me up and running with linking Tweeter to Facebook. I am definitely doing that as soon as I’m done with this comment. Cheers!

It seems this feature was good for the old format of a page.

I wonder if you could do this for the new timeline feature now. Hmmm…

I have a question actually, might be a decent blog topic for you to write about.
I went to a social media convention, and a guest speaker said its not really a good idea to link facebook and twitter where whenever you do anything on your facebook fanpage it then tweets it etc. I was told that will spam your twitter up where i should manually be entering tweets with more useful info than just a link that facebook sends..And pick and choose only the quality facebook fanpage entries etc. to manually enter

thoughts? opinions on whether its a good idea or not to auto tweet all your fanpage posts? Mine is set to auto tweet at this point in time.
