Companies other than Apple were racing to release tablets of their own when Apple announced the iPad. Well, it is well known that Apple cannot satisfy its customers with all the features they expect and other companies were most likely to capture the shortfalls and develop their own tablets with the Apple-lacking features incorporated.

The Ezy Tablet barely edges out the iPad in terms of screen size. The iPad has a 9.7″ screen, while the Ezy Tablet sports a 10.2″ screen. Both of them have full multi-touch capabilities. Because it’s a tablet with the capabilities of a laptop, the Ezy Tablet is a heavier 2.2 pounds, quite a bit more than the compact 1.5 pound iPad. Three-quarters of a pound doesn’t sound like much, but it makes a substantial difference with these two products. The convenient size of iPad makes transportation and usage easier.
2. Hard Drive
Ezy Tablet has got a 250 GB, much larger compared to the iPad which has 16-64GB.
3. Battery
The ball is in iPad’s court- The iPad can go up to 10 hours while the Tablet can last only for 3.5 hours.
4. Camera
The most awaited and disappointed feature on the iPad. The makers of Ezys have got it right! It includes a 1.3 megapixel camera/webcam.
5. Operating system
Mac users were actually disappointed while expecting Mac OSX on the iPad. But it came to the market with the same OS as the iPhone and iPod Touch. The Ezy Tablet, on the other hand, is a full blown computer with the ability to run either Windows Vista or Windows 7.
6. Price
You can look up the latest deals in Google, but the iPad seems to be cheaper. However, when you consider buying an OS, the price of the iPad shoots over that of the Tablet.

The only strong point that I can see here is the fact that EZY runs under Windows which is really great.

I’d definitely go for the Ezy, although I’d have reservations about the battery life. The iPad is more of a media machine, but does have a growing number of ‘work related’ apps. It’s a good comparison, but I’m sure as more tablets come on to the market, they’ll all inevitably get compared against the iPad.

You stated it best if you are going for entertainment/surfing the web the Ipad is great. However the Ezy Tablet PC is the way to go if you are looking for a tablet that acts like a full fledged computer!
