When the word “Blogging” comes to our mind, for most of us, a picture starts revolving - we all imagine lots of blogger fans and no doubt lots of money also. Why most of the people are into blogging? The simple answer to this question is “to making money from home”.
If you started your blogging career keeping one thing in mind that “I will make money from Google Adsense” then you are wrong.
Do you really think its a safe way to monetize your blog?
I am asking this question to you because I am seeing people daily on different Facebook groups who complain about their Google Adsense account disabled. And most of the newbie bloggers quit at this stage when they lose good money and hope.
Let me share a simple story of mine with you.
I started blogging as my career 4 months back and being a MLM leader my aim was to generate some online leads. I started devoting time on making my blog one of the best MLM blogs.
But soon I realized that this can also be a good source which can make a good money. I started spending sleepless nights and here is the result of my study.
Following are the best ways to convert your blog into a money making blog.
Make strong and loyal relations
I think blogging is all about relation where we give and take. Why do you keep visiting the good blogs regularly? Why do you keep reading the articles on those blogs? In my opinion that is just because we want to develop good relations.
But the question comes how to make good relationships? One of the best ways is from social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, StumbleUpon and too many others. Making good relations will be the first step in your mission to go ahead with your blog and convert it into a money making blog. Here are some tips to make good relations -
- Be ready to answer each comment on your blog, this will make your visitors feel to have good bonding
- Be active on your Facebook Page to share valuable stuff
- Take part in group discussions on Facebook
- Use twitter as providing valuable stuff (people love FREE stuff)
- Don’t miss out Google+
Launch a book
Launching a book is the second task to move to steps ahead in blogging. For a newbie its little tough to write a book but don’t worry in 2-3 months you will have the good knowledge and then you can write a book which will showcase you and your skill.
Your loyal reader will dig deep in your book because you have already made a relationship with him.
Never shy to insert you affiliate links in your book. Because this is a decent way to make money and which never fails. Put you affiliate links in your book with a good “Call To Action”.
Customize your comment redirect page
Once your blog is popular people will visit your blog daily and I know most of the people just write comments to have back-links. But you can monetize their comments also.
Make an attractive Page which will say Thanks for Commenting.
But don’t just stop at that make it more interesting by writing a call to action line like
STOP! I have something for you
And ask your visitor to visit the link for getting the offer or tool or anything you are putting there.
Squeeze page redirect
All good blogs have Aweber, GetResponse or other too many mailing subscribers list. You can make a separate page where your visitor will be redirected after getting subscribed for your list. You can place links to good affiliate products there which catch the attention soon.
Just make sure you don’t do it too much so that it annoys your subscribers.

Customize your comment redirect page This point is really awesome. I havent applyed in my blog but i saw some blog they are using it and its really helpful for engaging a readers. Very effective ideas shared above to monetize one’s blog. I think launching a book is been a popular trend nowadays. I also saw that even Kulwant launched a book. Good to know this. Hey Joseph, yes I’m using Commentluv premium and I’ve set a minimum amount of time that users have to stay in order to be able to submit a comment. I’ve set this time to be 20 seconds.
This is to keep the bots (which auto submit comments instantly) and spam commenters (who don’t read the post but type “great post”) right off the bat

Blogging has recently developed as one of the best way to make some money online and that too from comfort of home. This way of making money is famous because all those tech guys can use their ever increasing knowledge for themselves at leisure hours at home and can even showcase their ability to rest of the world.

I’m not sure that it is an easy task to launch a book. I think that if a person is working in this sphere not for a long time, then it isn’t a good idea to write it, because he or she doesn’t have enough knowledge for it

I was thinking to write a ebook but never did.
Finally I started developing small softwares and customizing tools for windows which bring me lot of traffic. Having some own products really makes lot of difference in traffic.

Great article. It is then important to set thing clear to the minds of bloggers. I also noticed some blogs that I comment to that they have thank you for commenting page. That is when I first commented on this blog.
Nice tips, Kulwant. Monetizing the blog is something - every blogger aspire to do but only a handful actually able to achieve this. It is coz, most people fail to understand the basics. Its about monetizing the traffic - so first you need to bring the traffic then only start thinking about doing any thing reg making money out of it.
Online money making is not so easy task. Google adsense is not something what makes it too easy to make online money. You gave such a nice info about it.

He sholuld simply not accept any comments that cross the line and become insulting etc., which will wipe out the reasons for a conflict.

As a reader of many blogs, and a customer of their affiliate programs, I would like to add that readers find it important how they are presented with a suggested vendor. Readers tend to prefer the feel of a personal referral and dislike advertisers shoved at them on every page of your blog.

there are too many garbage blogs on the web though from all this make money hype - the reality is, 95% of them, won’t make a penny!

The lure of making money online persists and therefor there will always be people to take advantage of them. The same can be said for the spammers looking to make the quick buck. Shot gunning their links all over the place. What a useless lot and approach. I would say invest the time into learning the techniques necessary to put a solid presence online. Ausin, Affiliate Marketing is the best way to make handsome income, but for this you will have to do thorough study !!
Once you will start any affiliate product marketing then obviously banner ads and Google Adword are the best way to promote the product !!
