I am delighted to announce the Blogging Tips 101 Contest to be conducted at (and by) Problogging Success. The contest will be a guest blogging contest.
Essentially, the participants will have to write and submit a guest post as a contest entry. Once the post is reviewed and published at Problogging Success, the participants will have to start promoting their posts.
The winners will be selected based on a points system which allows participants to earn points by promoting the contest post, building links and writing sponsor reviews.
- Google +1 Vote – 5 points
- Comment / Reply – 10 points
- 1 backlink (in the form of commentluv link; no spamming) – 25 points - The participants need to email me a list of page urls they commented on or better yet, the comment urls!
- Tweet – 3 points
- Facebook share/like – 4 points
- Blog Engage Vote – 4 points
- Blokube Vote – 4 points
- Sponsor reviews – Platinum: 200 points, Elite: 175 points, Gold: 150 points, Silver: 100 points - The participants have to email me the list of sponsor review URLs the’ve done.
This is the most important bit of any contest. Who wants to participate in a contest that has no prizes? Well, thanks to the awesomely generous sponsors, so far I’ve raised $700 in cash sponsoring.
Plus, there are some bonus juicy prizes too! Here are the details:
1st Prize: $350 $400

In addition, higher points are allotted to participants for writing sponsor reviews (based on the level of their sponsoring). Each review will be required to have at least one do-follow link.

Sponsors in this level will get a 300×300 banner, and two keyword anchored backlinks.

Just for writing and promoting a guest post you could win hard cash and juicy bonuses. In order to make it easy for everyone to participate, I have chosen a very general topic for this contest - Blogging Tips 101.
So you can write a post about anything related to blogging (literally). However in order to help you choose a topic, here are some major categories in which you can write your contest entry:
General Blogging, SEO, Social Media, Link Building, List Building, Guest posting, Content Marketing, Blog Traffic Generation, Content Creation and so on.
The list is not exhaustive.
The contest is planned to start on 15th December (the first day when I will publish a contest post) and will run until 30th January (to cope with the holidays as well).
So you can start submitting your contest entry anytime from now until 30th January (the earlier the better). All participants will have until February 15th to promote their guest posts (this is why I said, the earlier the better to submit your contest entry 
). The results will be be announced between 17th and 20th February and the prizes will released by 28th February.
